Ellie Bond – Artist and Educator

I play with shape, colour and composition to form my designs, each one ending up a unique work of art. While focussing on glass, my designs have taken on an illustrative quality, showing how I like to draw with the material.

My discovery and love for this method of making started during COVID 2020. The process gave me time to reflect, unwind and appreciate being within a particular moment in time.

I co-run the Art Foundation course at Northbrook College, during my career as an Artist and Art teacher I have taken various workshops in schools and for the general public. Being surrounded by the spontaneous and raw work being created within my mixed media workshops brings a renewed energy and a rich source of inspiration into my own practice as an Artist.
